Harbor porpoise

The harbor porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) is a mammal of the Phocoenidae family — species of marine mammal.

Across the 27 countries we cover it has 481,866 published records, most of them from Belgium, France and the Netherlands. It is recorded through much of the year, most often in March, July and August.

Its global conservation status is least concern on the IUCN Red List.
