Lüderitz has a cold desert climate (Köppen BWk): very little rain and intense sun.
The warmest month is March, when afternoons average 24° and nights 17°. August is the coolest month, with highs of 20° and lows of 11°. The difference between the warmest and the coolest month is about 5°, a small seasonal swing typical of places tempered by the sea.
